need some help on componets
im new here. i decided to try my hand at building a tower,ive done upgrades to pc's in the past. ive got a full tower picked out and i know i want a terabyte of memory and a fast processor but where do i go from here? sorry sounding liek a total noob but it is what it is...thanks

Welcome to the forums. It would help if you let us know how much you have to spend on this system, and what sort of applications/games you want to use it for.

By terabyte do you mean hard drive or RAM? Right now the Intel core 2 duo's are the hot processors. Specifically the E8400 being really popular now. Also what is your max budget? We need a little more information to help you.

ive got $1500 to spend. harddrive space. games will mostly be flight sim's and war related history games. music is a big factor being a musician. i have the Thermaltake Black Kandalf full ATX case that i want to build around. i want to do it right the first time....

Does that budget include the monitor, and keyboard, mouse and operating system?

no the $1500 is just to build the tower. iave the the monitor,keyboard,mouse and OS
