new cu problem

Put together a new CU with the following:
MB- Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS
AMD Socket 939 GeForce

Processor Case
AMD Athlon 64 ATX 788SW w/430W PS
4000+ (2.4 GHz 939pin
Problem, After putting it all together
HD and trying to config Bias, I get nothing on moniter.
Seagate ST3320620AS 320 GB PS has a slight smell (burning) but no obvious
SATA 7200 RPM Smoke.Fans and lights (case) are working.Does the
MB need to be insulated from case at the mounts as
Combo PCI Card 2 of the mounts are just screwed to them with no
PCTek 5-port USB washers.?

MEM
(3) 1 GB PC-2700 DDR DIMM 333MHz

Try resetting the BIOS by removing the battery for 15 minutes. Failing that, try this out of case toubleshooter to help determine the problem. Follow the instructions exactly, the motherboard and components must be out of the case.

What is a "CU"?

It sounds like you didn't use any standoffs between the motherboard and the case.

I hope you are not trying to be funny as I assumed that you know that "CU" means computer.
I had 2 nylon standoff that were included in the MB package but the rest of the standoffs included were screws which I used without fiber washers.

Have you tried the out of case build that you were linked to in post 3?

I asked because I didn't know what "CU" stood for. I've never, ever heard a computer referred to as "CU".
