front panel header LED question
First post so just to say hello to all!
I've just built a PC and am connecting the case LED wires to the motherboard. There are 2 LEDs for hard drives on the front of case, each with a separate wire and connector. However, I can only find one header for HD on the motherboard. I have 2 SATA hard disks so I was hoping to use a separate LED for each one! What can I do? many thanks in advance. Jon. |

You only can use one. I think your mistaking one of the case connectors for a HD led, all the ones I have seen only have one connector.

I've built several pc's with cases that have multiple hdd led's. Just pick the one you want to display the hdd activity and tie off the others to keep them out of the way. I usually pull the front cover off the case and tuck the extra wires between the case and front cover in a nice tight bundle.
