Does this build seem okay?

My budget for this is <$520 and it will be used for video viewing, internet surfing, and light gaming, something like WoW, TF2, Starcraft II when it comes out

Motherboard

Video card

DVD burner

Does it seem okay? Any part suggestion is welcomed

The parts totaled equal $615.93 but with a $100 mail-in rebate total, making it 515.93

Edit: Have XP Pro disc ready to be installed and monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse can be recycled from the computer that this will replace

As far as I can see, there are a few things I think I should point out.

First off, you don't need thermal greese or fan unless you have overclocking plans for your build. All necessary cooling will be provided in the retail purchase of your CPU.

You will probably want to hold off on the extra case fan - determine whether it's needed AFTER you get your build up and running for a while.

You are also missing an OS.

Skip the SLI MB and go for a newer chipset. I would recomend the Asus P5K MB with the P35 chipset. The basic one is fine but will add about $30 to your build.

The newer E8400 CPU is again about $30 more but it is money well spent if you can afford it. If not the CPU you picked is also very nice, I used one in my current build and am pretty happy with it.

If gaming at all, try to get at least a 8600 GT in the build. It is a good card for light gaming and can handle newer games on moderate settings. Check out this compairson review for video cards.

You might check out pricing on the Antec Sonota III case. It comes with a quality 500w PSU which might save you money in the long run.

You can get that Geforce8400GS from MSI for $37.99, at newegg.com. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with that build list.

the RAM to
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145034

and the VGA to

My only suggestion is this DVD Burner comes with software: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106072

The rest looks fine.
