I'm guessing all you want us to do is go wow. Nice build. But waste of money on the video cards...

Maverick, I went through your posts and converted the in-line images to links - please do this yourself in future to keep the forums dial-up friendly.

Looks pretty, I dont understand the fans on the bottom, are they just there for lighting, or do they actually move air laying flat on the bottom of the case like that? Even if they are designed for some type of side draw I just dont see how they can push much air around in that possition.
Hows is the 780i MB running. I keep reading about heating problems on them (which might explain the fans) are you having in trouble keeping things in the case cool? What was your total cost for that set up? I tend to agree with Dave on waste of money..... but I have always said that is one of the two best reasons so go SLI... when money is no object. Let us know if you do some benchmarks on the system would love to see how much extra performance all that buys you. Kat

The CPU is bottlenecking the system atm I have to CO her then I'll post some benchies. i am not happy with what I am getting Stock at all. 10,785 on 3dMark06 stock...
The bottom fans are actually drawing air from underneath the case. She's up on feet and their are two grates their to draw air into the case. Haven't had any issues with heat on the Mobo, The BN is sitting at 63C as it is stated too. Everything else is sitting more then acceptable in the 30s at load. Going to do a NB Fan mod which will drop that down to about 45C and then start some OCing. And some official Benchies... Mike |
