new build...help on case

first build in five years...need help on choosing a case. I currently have selected a Lian Li case but they are not mentioned on these forums much. Maybe because of price. But they seem to be of good quality. The Antec 900 looks nice but I have read some bad reviews.

So what do you guys think of the Lian Li cases? My current selection is LIAN LI PC-7A plus II Silver Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
As for the rest of my build:

ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80557E6750 - Retail

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400 - Retail

CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 620W Power Supply - Retail

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3750330AS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model LH-20A1L-06 - Retail

the computer is for pushing a 30" dell or Apple monitor at max resolution for reading MRI, CT and Xray from home. maybe for some light gaming.

I already have an 8800gt card.

any help much appreciated.

It looks good.

The case is always a personal choice. If you liie it, that's what counts.

Lian Li are exceptionaly well made cases, I own 3 of them and they are near pefect when it comes to design and finish. You couldn't go wrong with a Lian Li.

If you want a really sleek and elegant case without crazy leds, then lian-lli is your best choice for a sturdy case.

That is a very nice case, it also comes in black. Have you considered getting 4GB of RAM and a 64 bit OS?

I am actually going to get 4gb of ram...but I still have to use XP because my software won't work with Vista. It's a bummer that xp will only recognize like .....what 3.2gb of it though.

Wanted to post a note and say after reading a ton of posts...I purchased the above components and the build went great...she fired up the first time. Just an awesome machine. So thanks to the forum and the posters....PCMech is truly a great resource.

the only problem so far is when playing Aerofly Pro deluxe (a flight simulator for remote control airplanes) the screen will occasionally go dark with the windows logo...like it is going into screen saver mode or something?

I am also going to buy a fan for the top of the case...any recomendations?

and once again thanks.

btw...I am now going to build a MicroATX machine because I have the case...and I need a second computer for another VPN. any recs on a microATX motherboard?

Asus makes some nice ones that are really cheap and even have onboard video, if that's what you're looking for.
