I'm making a really low budget pc and I need to know if these parts will work out.

I have a seriously outdated motherboard with a S754 A64 3200+ and an AGP 6600GT, I was planning on buying the new ATI 3850 AGP but after doing some research it turns out that my processor will bottleneck the GPU and I won't be able to use it at it's fullest potential. The card I was planning on getting is $224 and also I was gonna buy another gig of PC3200 ram for $50 which would come around $280 with shipping but then I decided that maybe I should just spend a little extra and make a newer rig that can use the card's full potential so I went around www.newegg.com and this is what I came up with:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157125

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820313019

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103775

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161215

I'm not that computer savvy so if anyone can please tell me if my choices will work out I would greatly appreciate it!

lernax, in-line images are sort of frowned upon here. Please change the image to a link. Thank you.

What do you use your computer for mostly?

What kind of budget are you working with?

Yup, I plan on using it for gaming. Thank you very much for the advice!

I might as well get a slightly better processor also.

Id say $370 since I was originally just gonna buy a better GPU but since a little more will get me a much better machine plus with a little overclocking it should definately meet my needs.

You have a budget of only $370 for a gaming rig? Are you planning on using some parts from your existing computer? If so, please list them.

Thanks!

Also, the motherboard I plan on getting has the following cpu specs:

FSB 1000MHz Hyper Transport (2000 MT/s)

and the 4400+ has a hyper transport of 2000MHz, is there an issue here?

Would this board

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...Abit%2bNF-M2SV

be better than this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131249 ?

Abit are excellent motherboards, I think you would be happy with either one. I use Asus for the most part in my builds but I have also used a few Abits and I was delighted with them. The Abit however is not better than the Asus.
