CPU and Motherboard Combo Help

Hello, I am in need of some help on choosing a CPU and motherboard for a new build. This build will just be for basic needs like music, internet, and mild gaming (mostly CS and not that demanding games). The past 2 builds I have built were both AMD, the first was an X2 6000+ and the second was a Phenom 9600. I like AMD a lot but for the next build Im concidering a budget Intel build. Are the Pentium dual cores good? Also what is a good motherboard for these CPU's? Or should I stick with AMD? Im hoping not to spend much on this build maybe $150-$175 for just the CPU and motherboard. I will also be running XP pro 32-bit on this system. Please advise. Thanks

Why do you need another computer when you have those two powerhouses now?
