First time picking out parts for first build. What PSU to get?
Everything is in the 3rd post.
All I need is the computer, nothing else. I have the monitor and OS already. And can you provide better recommendations to my parts, I picked out. (I just went to newegg and looked at each section for each part and picked the one I thought was best on the page). Anyway I can save money or get better bang for my buck? I want to keep my budget below 900. Last edited by DemonFlame5; 03-16-2008 at 09:31 PM. |

Can't see your list. You need to either make it public, or just list and link the parts on here.

Looks pretty good. The RAM is overkill if don't plan on overclocking. DDR2-800 would still work.
I'm not a big fan of XFX products, though some people will say they are fine. We generally recommend eVGA brand cards, as they typically have the best reputation.

Agree with Alaron.
Also, don't forget a dvd drive, and an operating system. And a power supply. Look at the Corsair 550 or 650 or anything in between. |

ok, thanks guys, and I was searching through some other topics and I found this mother board. It's the 90 dollar one. Would this be a better deal than the one I have put out?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128059 And also, where can I find a eVGA 8800GT 512mb for 190 or less? Since I could only find an xfx one. |
