Help - no mouse!
It's my first build and I was jumping for joy that the initial boot-up went just fine. But then I started to install vista: everything ok using keyboard until I came to the part where I have to agree to everything MS ever says or does- pressing enter doesn't do the trick. Realised, belatedly, that the mouse isn't working. Should this have happened in BIOS setup? If so, how, where? Is there a way that I've overlooked to continue with the install without a functional mouse?
I'm using a standard mouse with an adapter for a USB socket. Motherboard is Asus P5K. All suggestions to remedy my stupidity gratefully received. |

Try a mouse with no adapter.
Or look in the bios for legacy support for usb.

Adapter might be bad.
