CRASH New problem, got it to boot, now it's sluggish and windows wont install properly?

I just put together my computer today, and when I start it up, it runs for about 20 seconds and then shuts off. What could this be? The only error I get on the screen is "Floppy disks fail(40). All of my fans are working and everything appears to be hooked up right.

Try hitting the key to get into your BIOS if possible. Disable the setting for floppy drive.

I got it working now. My CPU fan wasn't clamped down tight enough. I have a new problem now, though. I put my Vista CD in, press F1 and it loads off the CD. It takes a good 10-15 minutes to get the the install screen, when I'm there and start to install windows, everything runs fluently until the computer has to restart during installation. Once the computer reboots it just kinda stays at the begining screen (where i have to hit F1 again in order to boot from disk.) I boot the disk back up, but it begins all over from the begining of the installation?!

the same thing happened to me before, just wait out the boot from cd screen after the "initial" install, and it should sorta 'continue' to install. be patient, vista is terrible (im back to xp now )
