Ideas for new first time build.

Hello,

Heres my latest plans for my new PC.

Came to around £800.00

Graphics card isn't definite am going to wait for 9800GT card hopefully by EVGA when it finally comes out.

Anyway tell me what you think, this is my first time build but I am having a little help with a friend just so I dont mess things up

If you do go with the 8800gts, go with evga.

Looks good. Be sure to read the reviews on that case. I used one once for a build and it seemed a bit cramped. Nice case, just was a bit smaller than my current cases and you should make sure it will fit whatever video card you end up with. It was a few years ago and I was not installing a very large video card so I am not sayiing it will not fit, just that the case seems a bit smaller than most.

If you are overclocking make sure you get a good aftermarket cooler for the CPU. Thermalright has some very good coolers, Zalman also has some very good coolers but are harder to install, and you can find a good baseline for an aftermarket cooler in the form of the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.
