new build-advice needed!

I'd like to build a new rig for my in-laws. Preferably an AMD. They will need a new case, motherboard, cd burner etc...

They really don't do any gaming or graphic intensive things, so their system will be mainly for light word processing, web surfing, and watching videos on the web.

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

if youre looking cheap and low spec go for a dell or something you wont save any money building one and likely spend more.

What kind of budget do you have? It is easy to get a good overall computer for a low price if you make it yourself, and it will most likely be of higher quality than a computer such as a Dell.
