This is my first build, these are the specs:

MA-GA78GM-S2H

X2 5000+ BE

2GB Corsair XMS DDR2 800

380W Antec PSU

Sapphire 3450 video card

500GB WD Caviar

Lite-on DVD-R

I assembled per the directions of the Mobo manual and any other accompanying documents, POSTs fine (short beep), but I have no video from VGA, DVI or HDMI and thus cannot access BIOS to flash or set the output display. I took the video card out to try it from there, POSTs fine, but still no video. Also, does it matter which SATA ports the HD and DVD drive are on? I have them hooked on SATA's 0 & 1, can't rememeber the order though.

From what your saying if you tried the on board video and still no video try the link above and if that helps you might need to rma the mb. It doesn't matter which sata port you but your hd, or optical drive in..
