Front USB

Hi all,

I just finished replacing the motherboard on a friends computer, but can't figure out where the front USB ports plug into.

I replaced it with the same model after a bad BIOS flash, the board is an ASUS P4B any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

Do you have the motherboard manual? If not, go to the ASUS web site and download it. USB header information should be in it.

Where did you pull them from on the old board?

Nope, don't have it. Got the motherboard from ebay since it is older and not longer available through retailers.

I'll check out ASUS.

Did you locate the USB header yet? If not, see attached image.

It should be a group of pins sticking up from the motherboard, usually not that hard to find or see. I would compare the old to the new board side by side and see if perhaps the new one doesn't have them.
