First time Builder parts critique

Hey guys nice to meet ya all. I just recently found you forums and i gotta say its pretty cool how you guys help out one another. Anyways I've recently decided to try my hand at building my own computer after having a bunch of store ones crap out on me.

Heres a list of parts ill be using. hoping you guys can give me some suggestions.(ps gonna be using this for moderate gaming and graphic apps like 3ds max and ps.)

Note: I didnt add video card because i have a sad nvidia 7600 that will do untill i save up enough for a nvidia 8800GT. thas bout it atm.

Welcome to PCMech

Everything looks compatabll.

If you dont have burning software you might want to go retail on the burner, usually about $3 more. I generally recomend Lite-on which come with Nero.

definitley gonna need a graphics card... id go for a 8800GT 512mb onboard

to save money, you can cannabalize parts from your old computers; like you could use an old optical from one of them, and swipe a hard drive or two

also, you could save money on the operating system, *insert illicit activity here*

furthermore, id go for a case without a power supply since you are already getting your own
