Post High end OC'able gaming PC. ok setup?

Heh-hey everyone!! I'm new to these forums, but I'm hoping for a little help!
Check it out, if ya would....

NEW HDD- Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Video card- MSI N9600GT 512M OC GeForce 9600GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

OS- Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Home Premium for System Builders Single Pack DVD - OEM

CD/DVD- LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA DVD Burner - Retail

NEW PSU- CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX ATX12V / EPS12V 650W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, TUV, FCC, CCC - Retail

Motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard

Processor- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600

CPU cooler/heatsink- XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler

RAM- OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM

Case- RAIDMAX Sagitta 2 ATX-928WB Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

All of this costs about $900 after rebates.

So, I want to build a gaming PC that's able to OC if I choose to, down the road. I want to be able to play CoD4, America's Army, Team Fortress 2, and Crysis (hopefully). I don't have to have 200+ FPS, but I'd like to get a very nice frame rate while playing games.
I currently have a 19" Gateway VX900 Monitor (I also have a keyboard, printer, and optical mouse).
If anybody sees anything I should change in my to-buy list, that costs about the same, let me know please!

Does everything look ok? Any suggestions? Any important info I left out?

Edit: I know this isn't %100 high end, but it isn't really low end, or medium end... so whatever. :P Also, by the way, this is my first PC I'll have built.

I have the 9600gt, 2gb of ram, and an older dual core and I can play crysis at 30fps on medium/high. You will definitely be able to do the same. Just no AA, which kinda stinks.

That processor is currently $190 at Frys.com I believe.

If you consider upgrading/overclocking later on I would recommend the Corsair 650w.

You should also go for the laser mouse.... much better for gaming and not extremely expensive...

If you're going to overclock, I would get a higher power supply. 600 to 650.

Also, get a better heatsink. I haven't heard anything about that one, but I have heard plenty about others. Do a search, and you will see peoples recommendations. (ThermalRight)

Rest looks good.

Might want to look at a Seagate hard drive with 32mb cache. 7200.11 series.

Aww man, the sale just ended! I saw that deal yesterday but it isn't offered anymore...
You really don't think I'll be able to play AA? I'll have 4GB's of RAM, and a quad core. I sued to play it on my current PC, but the graphics went higher after each patch...

As for the laser mouse, I'm definitely gonna upgrade to a gaming mouse after I build this PC. But right now, it's out of my budget...

I just made a post, saw it posted, refreshed the page now, and it's gone.

Anyway, I should be able to play AA even if the settings aren't on high. I played on my current PC but the graphics got too high with each patch for AA...
That sale for the Q6600 at Frys.com ended already.

I'm gonna upgrade to a gaming mouse ASAP, but I don't have enough money right now...

I'll take your advice and buy the Seagate hard drive.
Oooo, I'll buy this PSU for the same price!! (after the rebate, it'll be the same price as the other PSU...)

As for the heatsink, I think you're right. I didn't realize how tall the one I picked was (several people recommended it).
How about one of these two?

Good hard drive, and great power supply.

For some serious overclocking look at the ThermalRight Ultima-90, Ultra-120 Extreme, or even the moster that is the IFX-14.

We apologize for that - that was a result of a software-side filtering system miscue. I restored it as originally posted.

All of those are sold out at NewEgg, and I wanted everything from the same spot to get the best shipping, and keep order mix ups to a minimum. Know what I mean?
Do any of those heatsinks I posted in my last post look ok?

I can understand the desire to order from one place, but newegg never has those heatsinks in stock.

You can also get good deals on them at other places too.

As far as the zerotherm, I remember hearing something about that in a comparrision test, but don't remember if it was good or bad.

True that. Do you know a good, trusted site I could find a ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme at?
I've been reading on other forums, and it seems you're right. A lot of people really like that ThermalRight.

Ok, and does it come with a fan or do I need to buy one? Any particular fan you recommend?

You need to buy a fan seperately.

I like panaflo. They move a lot of air. Not that quiet, but if you're overclocking, then you probably don't care about it being quiet anyway and just want perfromance.

Ok, so just buy a case fan? How do I attach a case fan to a heatsink? Also, do I need a fan controller?

I don't use a fan controller. I connect my fan straight to the power supply, and then the other part to the motherboard.

The heatsink has clips that you use to attach the fan.

If you buy the fan from here, you have the option of a 3 pin or 4 pin power connection: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/thulex.html
