Hardrive Problems

I just built my system. And my BIOS is not detecting my hard drive. Can anyone please tell me what the problems could be.

What mother board, and what hard drive?

Have you made sure the cables are in completely?

Yes ive checked if its in. Heres the parts

Mobo: P5E3 Premium Asus
Hardrive: Western Digital Raptor WD1500ADFD 150GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 1.5Gb/s Hard Drive

Have you tried a different sata port?

In bios, do you have the sata port in ide mode?

Ive tried like all the ports ,same thing. I had it in IDE but it wasnt picking up anything so i put it on AHCI and it picks up my cdrom but still not the Hard drive.
