I have the system up and running but I have no sound.
Have not installed a sound card as the instructions say I do not need one unless want for gaming, etc.

I go to start, control panel, sounds speech and audio, sounds and audio devise properities.
and it shows "no audio devise".

What do i need to do?

Bob

Did you install the sound drivers?

Did you enable sound in the bios?

Yes, I installed the drivers that came with K8M800 Micro AM2 Mohterboard.
I also enabled the sound in the bios.

I have also installed DVD Burn Lite-on LH 20A1L-06 LS RT. This Installation shows Serial ATA
drive by connecting the Power and Data cables. Could this be a problem as it does not
list any connections to sound?

Thanks for your help.

"No Audio Devices" type message usually means no drivers have been installed. Sound drivers on the motherboard CD can somethings be an option install, so double check that the driver is or isn't an option.
