Question Which onboard lan driver do I need?

I have MSI K9NGM4-F V.2 motherboard. The drivers that came with it are for xp and vista, not xp pro x64. I need ethernet onboard lan driver for this board for Winxp pro x64 version. I noticed its a Realtek lan chipset, but not sure which driver I should be downloading for that board that will work with 64bit Winxp pro system. Anyone know? Can it just be any realtek onboard lan driver for x64 or it has to be on same chipset which is Realtek 8211B? I'm hoping I can find a driver for this and get it working rather than buying pci version just to get my ethernet working. My email is [Removed by Moderator] or on the forum is fine. Thanks guys!

I don't see the xp64 drivers, so I would try just the regular xp drivers.

Motherboard cd has xp drivers, it will not work on X64 system. I've noticed there are few xp x64 drivers by realtek, but not sure which driver version I should be using is the question.

According to MSI, your motherboard uses the Realtek RTL8211BL / RTL8201CL chipset for the LAN.

According to Realtek:

RTL8201, RTL8201BL, RTL8201CL, RTL8201CP, RTL8201N and RTL8211B(L) are all PHYceiver. That is a driverless hardware device. Software driver are relative to Network controller ( MAC ) which is integrated into chipset in such case mostly. Please contact your mother board maker or chipset manufacturer to obtain proper driver support.
That leads me to believe your motherboard chipset drivers should be where we look.

The board's chipset is the Nforce 630a Geforce7025, which according to Nvidia.com has XP 64bit drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_...p64_14.10.html

The notes show that it includes your ethernet driver. Install that and let us know.

Wow, those nvidia drivers did the trick, not only it has lan drivers but other drivers as well included. I kinda like the 64 bit better and new avg free anti-virus came out with new version and has 64 bit support. Could not be happier with the performance of my machine. I have a question about my memory performance but I will start a new thread for that. Again thanks guys for searching the right driver for my system.
