Potential Gaming Rig
Is everything compatible with one another?
Will bios detect everything here, especially the HDD? Should I buy a better heatsink even though I won't overclock or is the heatsink provided along with Q6600 sufficient? Is there anything you'd recommend me to get or change? Configured at NCIX.com :

I would switch out the IDE HD for SATA. (edit: actually it says SATA, the little icon confused me)
The stock Heatsink works fine if on OC'ing and maintains your 3 yr warrenty. Kat

I wouldn't get a samsung drive. Look at lite-on or asus.
Also look at the seagate 7200.11 series hard drives. That ram is probably overkill and you could save some money by getting some other ram. Check out corsair xms2 ddr2-800.

Instead of the 8800GT, I would take a look at a 8800GTS 512MB since it's faster and cheaper.

That ram, vid card, and processor are crazy overpriced, unless it's in Canadian dollars?
Look to get DDR2 800 ram Check somewhere else for that 8800gt. The 512mb versions can be found for $180. Otherwise look at the 8800gts 512mb, they go for around $220. That processor is selling here for $200. I understand you're in canada. |

You have to order of the NCIX sale page to get good prices. Every week, there is the sale page with like everything at "regular" prices. If you just go and search an item you get an "overpriced" item.
This is the sale page for this week. http://www.ncix.com/promo/promosale.php?webid=byte2008 here are some examples of the items you chose but at the cheaper sale prices. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...l&promoid=1078 - Core2Quad at $230 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...y&promoid=1078 - OCZ Ram at $75 And why not get a single slot 8800GT at this sale price? http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...A&promoid=1078 It's $190 for an Evga "single slot" 8800GT WITH Enemy Territory Quake Wars! The sale page has just about everything, it's the big ad thing in the center when you go to NCIX.com. Go looking through the sale page and don't search it up like you did and get a overpriced item .
