My new PC build
So my New pc that I will be reciving today to build consists of:
Thermaltake Armor Series Case $139.99 + I added another fan 120mm 2 Ball Bearing Blue LED Case Fan $12.99 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache Barracuda Harddrive $239.99 A cheap LITEON DVD Burner CD Drive $32.99 Skulltrail motherboard SLI Intel Motherboard $600.89 CORSAIR Dominator PC2 8500 4GB $208.00 Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W Power Supply $389.99 I bought 2 Intel Core2 Extreme QX9775 3.2GHz $3,333.99 Also I got SLI BFG GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB $1,129.99 You're thoughts? |

and windows vista It came with the CPU free 64bit vista!

what size monitor are you using? As many point out SLi wont really be that great of an advantage on anything less then 24".
Also spending that much money you could get a better HDD: seagate 7200.11 series 32mb cache. just my thoughts, still looks like a bada$$ build! |

I'm going to be the antagonist here and say I don't believe it.
I want pictures ![]() In all honesty, if this is true, I hope you're gonna be watercooling it or something extreme like that. Would be sweet. |

Looks like a sweet toy, but what I see as wrong is you are spending 4K for the last little bit of performance. Other than trying to set new benchmarks does that extra 4K or so really improve your gaming experience?
You can build a fantasitc SLI gamer for 2K to 2.5K and I doubt that the in game performance difference between the two systems would even amount to 5%. It looks sweet but I doubt I will ever be rich enough to justify paying that much more for so little gain. Maybe if I won the Lotto .Kat
