No System Check?

I just built my first computer today, and after installing everything, checking, and double checking it all, i power up.

CPU fan is spinning, case fan spinning, PSU fan spinning, video card fan spinning, LEDs on...then nothing. My speaker does not beep (i tried reversing the connectiong, same result), monitor is not getting a signal, my mouse doesn't light up, but my keyboard does.

Please help i don't know what to do because i can't even tell if it posts or not because my monitor gets no signal.

My specs are:

mobo: GIGIBYTE GA-P35-DS3L
cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz
memory: 8 Gb (4 x 2gb) of G-Skill DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
video card: EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16
HD: Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB
PSU: Antec earthwatts EA380 ATX12V v2.0 380W

Thanks in advance

Welcome to PCMech. When trouble-shooting a new build, it's best to start with the bare minimum out of the case and work your way up from there. Follow HAL's Guide to see if you can pinpoint the hold-up.

That PSU may not be strong enough for that system. I believe at least 400w is recommended for that power supply.

Also, 8gb of ram? Definitely just try 1 stick first in different slots.

I second the PSU, I wouldn't put any less than a 500W in that system, and would probably go 550-600w for added security.
