Time for a new build - looking for some advice

Here is the setup I have put together so far. It is based, in large part on comments in these forums (which are top notch)! the build is as follows:

Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16811129021

ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813131196

EVGA 512-P3-N875-AR GeForce 9800 GTX KO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16814130348

CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817139005

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16819115037

CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820145176

Logitech G11 Silver & Black USB Standard Gaming Keyboard
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16823126009

Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" 2ms(GtoG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 350 cd/m2 DC 3000:1 Built in Speakers
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16824255011

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16827106072

My questions are:

1. This will be a gaming machine. However, I do of work in excel and I like the large monitors for this. Given the size would I be better off down the road with one of these mobos assuming two GPUs in SLI? Or will a single card handle the load here?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131219

2. Would something like this be a better single card solution? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143080

3. Given the size of the monitor and possible SLI in the future are the power supply and case big enough.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, if the monitor is just to much of a drag here I could go a bit smaller.

I would leave the build the way you have it.

Single card should work fine.

You probably want to stay away from an Open-Box Motherboard.

How about a HDD? You could save some money by going with this 2 X 2 GB kit from Corsair, same timings.

If you have the budget for it, the Dell 2408WFP is an excellent monitor.

HDD will most likely be a http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16822148294

Although the reviews of these drives lasting only a few months may push me to a smaller drive as 500gb storage is a waste if it is going to die.

Instead of that drive, get a seagate 7200.11 500gb sata drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148288
