Check out this review to help you chose video card. There is a good table on the last page that ranks just about every card.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...ards,1805.html

when on the site you might check to see if they have a newer review, they are up-dating them about every month so this one might be last months.

Cant help with sound card, I am very happy with the 5.1 that came with my P5K so have little reason to get a seperate card. You might try out on-board sound first, a sound card is easy to add if you find you want more.

Try saving around £40 more to get the evga 9600GT or 8800GT. They will run WOW well for yours system.

The 9600GT and HD3870 are almost identical in performance.

Try out the program first on the onboard audio and see how it is. If it is not to your liking then upgrade to an external sound card.

If you do decide to purchase a sound card, I'd recommend this one from Asus for about $90

I've got a 9600GT and recommend it as a good card without having to spend a ton of money. As for sound...I think most people are pretty happy with on-board sound these days, but if you have to buy, SoundBlaster X-Fi is is a good way to go.

I personally will not by another Creative soundcard again. I would suggest an alternative if you need a sound card.

That being the case you might want to start a post in the Audio forum and decribe your needs. Most of the answers I could give would be based around game and it sounds like you want something else.

I question the quality of that power supply. Most cases that come with power supplies come with cheap, substandard quality units.

You are better going with this Antec Case http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...50882,44110000
The power supply is the most important part of your computer.
A bad power supply could result in you losing your entire build in a flash.

this is what i have been thinking of all weekend should i go for seperet power and cases or buy them together depending the graphics card i choose i will need a 520W and maybe more to run the system
as i am going to overclock the CPU memory and graphics card i need a cases with lots of clooling and steady power supply
i choses the DABS cases as it had lots of cooling built into the desighn and had the 600W power
if u lot know of a good cases that fills the same spec with out going to stupid price please tell me i will look it up
