Windows DVD in and everything stops
this is a new pc with Vista and Core 2 Duo 2gb's ram

i installed the system and all is working ok. Then I went to boot from the vista dvd and nothing happens - zilch. I don't even get a bios screen. everything seems to just stop working.

but when inside the system I can run the same dvd or any other dvd with no problems. So i assume it has something to do with boot. But what?

bios is set to boot from dvd.

any ideas?
