MoBo Choice
Hey all,
I'm looking at upgrading my current AMD system to the e8400. I've been reading here for MoBo recommendations recently. However, I've noticed that almost everyone recommends the Asus P5Q Pro over the standard P5Q. Is there any reason to this? I will only ever have 1 vid card, so the loss of a PCI-Express slot means nothing to me. Thanks. |

The standard P5Q is still a fine board.

Comparing the two specs that seems to be the main difference. I think the pro migh also have better onboard sound, but can't be certain.
