I have a concern that I may be missing some things.. cables or something, so please let me know if you find what I missed...

I'm looking for a case suggestion along with a watercooling suggestion (it gets hot in the room where my comp is)

Using my old keyboard/mouse/dvd drive/monitor.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a fine list to me.

Cases are personal preference really. I like Antec towers. I know the CoolerMaster CM690 is a good case.

I would hold off on watercooling. With good airflow in your case, it won't be necessary.

im not doing watercooling due to OC or anything, im doing it because the room im in is hot.. during the summer and winter it stays 85+ in here (small room alot of electronics)
the comp i use now has blinked on the temp gauge and shut off a couple times due to the heat

arent i also missing the cables for th HDD, i need a sata for the new one and a jumper to connect the two of them don't i?

Your motherboard comes with both IDE and SATA cables.

If your room gets that hot, and it's causing problems, then you might want to consider getting an air conditioner instead of doing watercooling.

That would help keep the room cool for all your electronics.

If the air in your room is that hot watercooling won't make much difference. You'll just be blowing hot air over the radiator... shadow's right, get an AC for the room. Parts list looks good.

OK, I got all my parts, and hooked them all up.. this is the second computer I've built and first time it didn't work, so needless to say I don't know where to begin..

I checked all the connections and didn't see any problems..
When I turn it on, fans come on, mobo has light, gfx has light, psu fine..
Problem: no display coming from monitor, and keyboard/mouse (both USB) receive no power...

HELP! please?

Thanks in advance..

Try this: PROBLEMS with a NEW BUILD? Try This!!

Make sure it's out of the case.

Also, ty to push the monitor buttons and change the display or input or cource type (wording will depend on brand).

I made the same mistake. Having multiple power connectors isn't helpful for clueless people fumbling their way around the computer.
