First Timer

Alright this is my first time making my own comp and all I'd really like to know is whether or not everything is compatible with everything else. My budget is around $1200, but any recommendations would also be greatly appreciated. The components I plan on using are as follows:

(From a Local Store)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 64bit Quad Core (4x 2.4Ghz, 1066FSB, 8MB Cache)
OCZ Reaper OCZ2RPR1066A2GK PC8500 1066Mhz 2GB Kit
Seagate 500GB 7200RPM (SATA2 32MB Cache)
Creative X-FI Xtreme Audio (7.1, PCI-E, OEM)
Lite-On LH-20A1L Litescribe
Microsoft Windows XP Professional

(Evga.com)
EVGA GeForce 9800GT 1GB AKIMBO

(Newegg.com)
APEVIA X-JUPITER G-Type X-JUPITERG-BK Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
PC power and cooling PSU 750w
ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

I already have a monitor, and I am positive that I can handle the other accessories (speakers Keyboard, Mouse, etc)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You won't need 1066 RAM with that CPU. Go with 800 instead. Personally, I'd go with 4GB. We would recommend these brands: G.SKILL or Corsair

Why an SLI motherboard? I'd go with a regular ASUS P5K or P5Q.

As for the video card, I'd go with a Radeon HD 4850 instead of that card. It will perform better and is cheaper. Or step it up to a 4870 if you want.

Thanks ill look into it, but i just realized that newegg doesn't ship to Canada! ugh.
Ok I am looking on ncix.com and found a similar Case, http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...facture=Apevia but the one i had originally picked out was not there. What is the difference between these two, and will the updated one still work?

The case from Newegg is a full tower and the one from NCIX is a mid-tower, meaning that the full tower is 6" taller and about 3" longer. Other than that they seem to have comparable features.
