Great news! I got my power supply this morning and I fitted it in. 480w and no hitches! The graphics card (Geforce 6 PNY 256mb) is working perfectly, and the 2gb RAM upgrade just makes everything even faster than before.

I wouldn't have been able to this without your help. Together we achieved the virtually impossible - upgrading a Brand computer with no problems. Your help is 2nd to none as far as I'm concerned. As you can see, the guy with blue writing was a complete douchebag. It's my belief that he knows nothing about the gritty mechanics of computers, and is just a fanboy getting his knowledge from magazines and websites.

Well, a lot of what he said was correct. You aren't going to be able to play the more graphic intensive newer games with good performance, but hopefully it will serve your needs well.

What Im getting at is that he said that there is nothing I can do. However I have succeded in upgrading the RAM, graphics and power supply to play a wider range of games.

I'm sitting here playing Supreme Commander on low-med settings. The game still looks graphically good.
The guy was talking rubbish, he was just a fanboy. It's not how much you know of the latest stuff out today, it's how much you know about compatibility and performance of said hardware.

People were telling me not to waste my money - my money is far from wasted! I can play Doom 3 on ultra high settings and Supreme Commander on reasonable settings!
