Power-up PC without a case?

Greetings,

I was wondering if it was possible to power-up a PC without having the MB connected to a case.

Reason: My case has not arrived yet. I have all the hardware (cpu, mb, ps, ram, hd, v. card, sound card) on hand & and all hardware have been connected. I've attempted to use the on/off switch from the ps, but no power.

If so, how?

Yes. We actually recommend doing that.

You will want to use a flat head screw driver and gently touch both of the power pins on the motherboard.

PROBLEMS with a NEW BUILD? Try This!!
