Are you overclocking? I'm going to answer this assuming that you won't be, as this is your first build.

Processor - Buy a retail processor that includes a fan if you're not overclocking. It will have a better warranty and be cheaper.

Memory - This is overkill. Get some DDR2 667 RAM for much cheaper.
(In your build, without overclocking, DDR2-533 RAM and DDR2-1066 RAM will perform EXACTLY the same, assuming they both have all other stats the same. So there is no point to shell out the extra cash.)

MoBo - Go for a P5Q from ASUS in my opinion. I wouldn't trust the MoBo you picked out.

Try out these two links.

Retail Q6600 - $26 saving

Cheaper RAM - $50 saving

MoBo - $75 addition

Just my two cents.

I would go with the Radeon HD 4850 over the GeForce 9800GTX+, unless you have some abnormal affinity for nVidia. It is a little bit cheaper and will slightly outperform the GTX+.

video: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102747

can save some money with this psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341010

Get the retail processor that alanebro linked to.

Don't wory about the aftermarket heatsink since the retail processor comes with one. (Unless overclocking)

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145590

The motherboard that alanebro linked to.
