A few suggestions.
First, change that mb to a asus p5q. Second, change the hard drive to a seagate 7200.11 sata drive. The 500gb are teh sweet spot, but there is a special on the 1tb at dell.com. Also, most will suggest a faster dual core for gaming. The e8400 or 8500 is a good. And with the money saved from the motherboard, you can get a better video card.

Note, you will need a 64-bit O/S to take advantage of more than 3.5GB of RAM. I noticed you were getting 8GB.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll be going with the intel e8400 and the p5q motherboard. Yes, I will be using Vista 64
