This is what I have so far: Case and PSU - ANTEC SONATAPLUS550MID TOWER with 550W PS Motherboard - ASRock P45R2000 -WiFi DDR2 / DDR3 CPU - Intel Core 2 E8500 Wolfdlale HD - Seagate 250 GB Sata II 16MB Cache Memory - Corsair Twin 2 X 2048 8500 DVD drive - Pioneer DVR-212D Dual Layer SATA [B]Video Card – Not Sure Sound Card – Not Sure Essentially I’m not sure what video card to get for this system…not looking to break the bank. I’m also not sure about the motherboard…it did get good reviews Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance |

What is your budget?
What will the computer be for? Gaming? General use like email? And I would suggest you stay away from asrock motherboards. Look at asus. Do you need wifi?

Asrock isn't the greatest quality.
I would suggest the asus p5q. For a dvd drive, either a asus or lite-on dvd burner, sata, retail. The motherboard has onboard sound, so you wouldn't need a soundcard. And for a video card, the 8800gt seems to be at a good price now. So is the 4850. |
