Redesigned Rig

Ok HERE is the link to my old rig that I was going to build. Now my new rig that I am sticking with is this:

I've been listening to peoples opinions. I took some of those opinions and actually used them. You can see I changed a lot. Went SATA, new MOBO, new RAM, and others. I feel this computer is perfect for me and in less than two weeks I hope to have the parts here and ready to build. Can't wait to have this in my hands. This is my very first build and with trial and error I think I did good.
Comments are welcomed.

LOL at the last moment I changed case and power supply I just read about modular PSUs and the case I was getting had a modular PSU. I went with a Antec Basiq BP500UB 500W ATX12V.

I read here on the site that the Antec was a good PSU quoted Top quality PSU's in blue and the Antec was in blue.

Check what accessories come with the motherboard...you might not need to buy the SATA cables seperately.

Yea I checked only one comes and I don't want to take the chance on the OEM HDD. Some say it comes with software and cable some say they get cable only and some say they get software only. Also if OEM HDD does come with cable then I could always use the extra cable for an extra HDD.

OEM hard drives do not come with any cables. All you get is the drive in a static bag and that's it.

I might suggest getting shorter cables. 36" is going to leave you with quite a bit of excess for a standard tower. Otherwise the parts look good.

Considering that SATA ports on your motherboard are rarely more then a few inches from the drives themselves, I think 10" cables would be fine, but you may want 18" to be safe.

You don't need to guess. Wait for the parts to come and then measure exactly what you need. This will partially be determined by how you route your cables. Then go down to the computer store and pick out the length you need.

I had to buy 24 inch low profile SATA cables for my computer. Low profile because a graphics card went right over two of the ports on the motherboard. 24 inches because the SATA ports were at the top of the MOBO (upside down) and the drives were as the bottom of the computer. So not all are the same.

Good point, but I'm going to go ahead and get at least 20 and then I will do cable management if it is to long. Thanks for all input.
