Graphics card on an older system

I was thinking about fixing up an old computer that was given to me for free. Its specs are:
1.8 ghz pentium 4
512 MB of DDR 226 mhz Ram
32 MB ATI graphics card (at work, forgot actual spec) AGP 4x
Windows XP Pro
All on a Albatron px845pev pro motherboard

I am new to PC building and this is mostly a learning experience for me. I obviously am not trying to set up an overclocked gaming PC to play Crisis at the highest resolution with everything turned on and am well aware that this computer is yesterdays technology. That being said I still want to squeeze a little more life out of it and turn it into a casual gamer, web surfing, email and web design machine.

My upgrade plan:
3.0 ghz pentium 4 newegg.com
2 gig of DDR 333 ram newegg.com
Radeon HD 2600 XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4x/8x

According to my research all this should work together, I am also aware that drivers for AGP are going to be a pain but I am up for the task. Will this be a suitable set up for what I am trying to do?

I'm not sure you've got the right processor.
I think you need the P4 524 3.06 for that board : http://www.futurepowerpc.com/scripts...C085AF84FBBF7A

Also, what's the power supply in that computer ?
The 2600XT isn't a power hog but once you add the new cpu and up the ram if you're looking at a 275 watt psu it may not be up to the job.
