micro ATX mobo with ATX case?

will an ATX case work out ok with a micro ATX motherboard?

What case? Pretty much any ATX case you buy should have motherboard standoffs for micro-atx and atx boards.

Well, I just chose a new case that happened to say it was specifically ATX and micro ATX supported. Thanks for the reply though!
