What You guys think of this one ?

So here is my FINAL list of my 2nd personal build.
The original budget was somewhere around $1100 but somehow I got it up to $1400 after reviewing these parts
SO plz don't recommend me anymore upgrades b/c I'm not spending anymore than what it already is :-)

Well.

The case has a top mount for the PSU. With a big CPU cooler, that could present problems down the road.
Seagate drives are better, IMO.
An ASUS P5Q PRO would probably be a better option, motherboard-wise, and it's only about 20 bucks more.
A power supply with a hefty single 12v rail will handle your high powered hardware much more effectively and reliably.

I listed that one in case you decide to run Xfire in the future with multi connector video cards.
This would be a better video card choice:

I say that mainly because the X2 versions have been nothing but trouble for most builders.
The base of that CPU cooler looks like trouble.
One of these would be a better choice:

A ZALMAN 9700 is good too.

A couple of suggestions...

1) I second Seagate over WD. Go with the Seagate Barracuda 7200 500GB
2) Why not go with the Q6600 processor to save some dough. I have mine OC'd to 3.2Ghz and my computer screams. Even at stock speeds, its a great processor. Q6600
3) Not sure on the Biostar mobos. I prefer Gigabyte but Biostar could be good too.
4) I also second the Zalman suggestion. Don't skimp on the cooler if you are going to juice that processor.

Some suggestions:

1. This power supply will save you about 100 bucks and its better, imo.
CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...orsair%20750tx

2. Same performance as your RAM, but cheaper, and I have it and its blazing fast.
CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145184

3. Personally, I have a a WD 500gb Caviar and it works wonderfully, so between Seagate and WD, just get which is better for your money.

4. I also would recommend getting the Asus P5Q motherboard, its great for the money.

5. A quad core processor is nice, but paying for a 2.83(Q9550) vs a 2.4(Q6600) is a rediculous price to performance ratio. I would say go with the Q6600 and save yourself 100+ dollars because 0.43 gigahertz isn't worth it.

6. MOST important suggestion I have to offer. The graphics card you are buying is simply overkill for most games. You will ALWAYS be paying WAY more money for a bleeding edge top of the line card. Maybe you should tone down the graphics card a little and you will see surprising price differences with capable performance.

Hope this helps,

Hippo
