Help With Weird Problem?

I just build my new pc and it starts up ok and runs good but if I nudge it or accidently tap it, it will just shut right off?

Guesssing that something is touching the case that shouldn't be.

Does it shut off or restart?

What are your system specs?


Are all of your cables and hardware connected securely?

No it just shuts off, it doesnt restart?


I am seeing that when I open it up and turn it on, it runs so i started tapping different hardware to see if it was the cause.....and everytime I tap the power supply, it shuts off right away?

Replace that PowerUp power supply, it's cheap, low quality rubbish.

Yep... I agree with Mr. Cricket... lose the power supply and get yourself a QUALITY unit.

Thanks everyone for your help, I replaced the PSU with a BFG PSU and now the Computer work great!!!
