Help with Acer MB Connections

I need help! I'm a computer novice so please excuse my ignorance. I recently bought an Acer Aspire M1100 desktop (Acer Aspire AM1100-B1410A Refurbished AMD Desktop PC - AMD Athlon X2 4000 2 .1GHz, 2GB DDR2, 320GB SATA2, DVD±RW, Vista Home Premium).

Acer told me that these are the specs for the motherboard: ACER F690GVM ATI RS690C SB600 MARVELL 88E8056. I want to upgrade my PC and want to install; AOPEN 20X DVD Rewriter IDE Interface - 20x DVD±R, 12x DVD-RAM, 8x DVD+R, 6x DVD-R, 8x DVD±R DL, 48x CD-R, 32x CD-RW, Interchangeable Bezel, and, a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200.11 Internal 3.5" Serial ATA-300 7,200 RPM 32MB Hard Drive - ST31000340AS.

I’ve mounted/installed the DVD re-writer and 1TB HD, but, now need to get power to them and connect any other wires to/from the motherboard. Here’s where my problem comes in. I don’t have a manual for this MB and so don’t know what connections to where, I need to make.

Please help with any information you can provide (ideally with pics). Of course Acer provided No help at all and told me that they don’t offer any help with connecting/installing other hardware.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas Kenney
