no image on monitor
A few years ago I put together an inexspensive PC for my niece. It has a Intel board. It was working fine till her husband thought it would be good to give it a good cleaning,,,,,with the vacuum cleaner. Now when he trys to boot it up the monitor won't display. He's bringing to me but I'm not sure I even know how to trouble shoot something like that. He doesn't think he touched anything inside but I find that hard to believe. Where would I start? Thanks for any advice.

I'd look for something disconnected or loose before trying to boot. Also try reseating the memory and any pci cards.
