New Build

My budget is $470 before shipping

I already have a case, and a hd. (case is atx, hd is ide)

This is what I came up with;

any help or upgrades to existing things for same price would be great, thanks

Welcome to PCM.

Good budget list.

The only thing to change is the power supply. Apevia is poor quality. Pick something from our good list: What Power Supply should I get? How many Watts? Who made it? Guide Inside I'd recommend FSP.

Also... you will NOT need that extra thermal paste as the RETAIL BOXED CPU you order already includes it preapplied.
