budget gaming rig
Hi everyone. ^_^

I just used the same motherboard in a recent rig. Advice: choose an Asus one. It went bad in a week and a half, i had to get a new one. Don't bother with micro ATX if you don't have to.
Also, the athlon x2 64 series is awesome, don't go quad! Quad is NOT for gaming, it is for multitasking. Games aren't multithreaded enough and won't be for years to use quad cores. go with dual cores and save a bunch of money like the 2.8 athlon 64 x2 brisbane black 77 bux when i bought from newegg. you hit the money with the 9800gt, i used that one, i tell ya it's a beast |
