Ok.... I have a noobish question about installing a motherboard. Motherboards come with little pin screws and washers. My question is how are they installed. Obviously the pin screws get put into the case's motherboard plate... do the washers go on top of the pin screws before the motherboard or does the motherboard go directly on top of the screws followed by the washers on top and fastening screws after that?
Told ya it was a noob question I just want to make sure the motherboard doesn't get shorted/grounded out anywhere. Someone please enlighten me

I never use the washers either. They are to prevent the standoff or the screw accidentally shorting a track running near the hole but today's motherboards have plenty of grounding from screws/standoffs that you don't need to put washers on.
Here is some more info regarding the washers http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/145/2

I don't believe it used washers with my first build either.

Just to make sure we didn't miss something... remember that your motherboard won't get screwed directly onto the motherboard plate, but rather into the standoffs (usually copper in color and about 1/4" tall). The standoffs are what go directly into the motherboard plate and keep the board itself elevated to prevent shorts.
