HTPC & Media Server in one

Hi everyone,
I am highly considering a new build for a htpc and a server. How ever I was thinking, can't I just combine them? And what OS should I use, I have vista, home server 03 standard and enterprise, can get vista ultimate if needed. Or should I keep the 2 seperate? Heres the build

hd- (6) Seagate Barracuda 1.5 TB

vid- HIS Radeon HD 4670 IceQ or better

sound card- AuzenTech Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1

ram- A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB)

mobo- GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 or ASUS P5E-VM HDMI LGA 775

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300

Moneual LAB Black Aluminum 972B or SILVERSTONE cw03

LG Black 6X Blu-ray or other

I think you should be able to have both in one.

Not sure which os would be best, but Vista would be my guess for the htpc.

Don't forget a psu either.

I'm not sure why you would want to have them separate. You might want to consider the noise when you are looking at parts.

Hal, I don't see it on the good list. I see AMS, but not ABS.

There are a few nice modular power supplies.

I like and use a corsair 620.

I just checked it out, the ABS one has it so you don't need all those power cables which is my concern because I have a PC Power & Cooling Silent 610 right now in those cables are a b&^$#

will also wait on this new sound card coming in the end of January
