New gaming oriented build! Mid-high range.

Hello folks,
When time came to upgrade my PC I decided to try and find the first post I made here to see how much things have changed.

I know you get a gazillion of these, But... 1st time build

The machine isn't too bad but I'd like a new machine to game with for the current generation of games. (Crysis,CoD4/5,Farcry 2). As before I also need to be able to do some programming on it while playing music/watching videos.

I would also like to be able to hook up the rig to my TV for novelty every once in awhile.

I already bought the case, O/S and GPU because they had some deals going on at New Egg.

1500 is about what I wanted to spend anyway. I don't plan on doing any O/C'ing...

Lemme know what the experts think!

Thanks again folks.

I would drop the mb down to a p5q.

And drop the ram down to ddr2-800 2x2gb.

If you do a lot of multitasking, you might want to consider a quad core.
