Hi all, I recently installed a pc game that was made in 2000. The minimum system requirements are:
266 MHz CPU 64 MB RAM 4x DVD-ROM 4 MB DirectX 8.0 compatible Video Card Here are my specs: 1.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E1200 2 GB DDR2 PC6400 RAM 1 GB ATI Radeon HD 3650 Video Card 20x DVD burner Windows XP Pro 64bit SP2 I've been experiencing performance issues (skipping of the gameplay) and random shutdowns while playing this game. My questions are... how do I tell if there is an IRQ conflict in my pc? Also, what other steps would you recommend I take in finding the cause of the problem? Thanks. |

IRQ conflicts are a thing of the past. With WinXP you really won't see this as a problem.
What game are you trying to play? Does the problem only occur when you're playing this game? Any error messages? Does it shutdown or reboot? Are you sure this game can even be played on a 64bit OS? Cricket
