how many watts do i need?i know everyone hates Ultra so don't mention it.

most importantly will that mobo or anything else bottleneck the performance of the video card and/or the cpu? if mobo is bad will this due?

Why not mention it, its a very low quality unit. If you like tiger direct and must order from there use this PSU...

Its more money but has much less of a chance of making a science project out of your new rig.

Also, your second mobo, the Asus, is a good choice.

well ty and i did put forward some money for that psu

would that first mobo work or only the second?

and would the fans keep everything cool?

I would also suggest a different brand of DVDRW. Lite-On or LG are better choices.
Have you considered Newegg? The CPU alone is $30 cheaper there.

I like the asus p5q mb as well.

definately change that power supply. The one Josh linked you to is great, but you could possibly drop that down to the 650.

And I also agree with NI. A different brand dvd burner. I like lite-on and Asus.

For a bit more, look at the seagate 7200.11 drives. The 500 was teh sweet spot, but I think the 1tb might be taking that claim soon.

Also, if this is more of a gaming build, then you can drop teh cpu to a e8500 and save money.

alright ty i just didn't want to get a real good cpu and gfx and have bad performance because of a bad mobo
