Exclamation Asus Mobo help First boot up

Ok Well i got the rest of my parts for my computer im building today so i put it together and tried to installed windows.

Heres the system so who ever steps in know what were dealing with.
Asus M3N72-D mobo
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHZ CPu
4gb PC2 6400 Memory
Nvidia 9800gt Video Card
and a 250gb Western Digital Sata drive.

ok So i went o to start up for the first time and everthing seem normal got the Asus mobo. screen the soon ask me for the system disk. Which then i insert windows disk and started to install windows.

Well appently one of my copies of XP is a little scratch as i gave me and error saying it could not read the disc. So i follow the onscreen direction which everntually told me to reboot, which i did.

On the boot up I get the asus screen the is just stops in like a dos screen with a blinking cursor on the top left, and just sits thier. I have another copy of XP which i know works ( i just installed it on this computer a couple days ago) So how can i get it to do what it did the first time?

Help ME please!

I am pretty sure you can use the other copy of XP. When it asks for the lisense number, you give it the number of the scratched disk. So essentially, the lisence is not attached to a specific disk.

Are you hitting the appropriate key from the ASUS screen and booting from the DVD drive?
