Recommend a Laptop
Hi can anyone recommend a laptop?
I prefer smaller screen, decent speed don't have to be super fast, intel, vista premium is kool, 150 to 250gb memory, price range 500 to 650 more or less. Really trying to buy one tonite if possible but local, Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco are basically in my area. Maybe others. The ones I looked at so far... Asus X83Vb-X1 Toshiba Satellite M305-S4848 Thanks Dave Last edited by bellsnwhistles; 12-13-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

I've never owned one but I've heard that Toshiba laptops are very reliable.

Correct
I had the A205 or something like that I read a post about Lenovo Laptops/Thinkpads too so in the meantime I am looking at those. But I will appreciate some more inputs. Thanks Dave |

At work Ive been using an Acer Extensa series and have really loved it. Dual pentium, 1GB ram, XP, very nice size, keyboard feels good. Also, for the requirements you gave, you could try a "netbook."

You know what?
I think I am going to stick with the Satellite A205 (Provided I can find one for cheap) only because I already have a broken one. Also cuz my hd will help me continue working where I left off by simply installing it in the new one. If anything change I will post back. Thanks folks!
